The Area Property Manager runs the day-to-day operations of a 116 unit Project Based Section 8 Apartment Community in Plainfield In, a 48 unit Rural Development Community in Danville, IN, a 48 unit Rural Development Community in Brownsburg, IN and 34 Conventional Duplexes scattered between Danville and Brownsburg. The Area Property Manager ensures that the communities perform at a high level and achieves company goals. The Area Property Manager ensures that all HUD and Rural Development guidelines are adhered to and runs all relevant reports to submit to corporate office. The Area Property Manager is in charge of maintaining the budget, leading the leasing of any units and keeping the maintenance department on task in a fantastic team environment. Looking for a highly motivated self starter who is task oriented and able to lead a team. This portfolio currently sits at 100% occupancy with a strong waiting list and strong in place Assistant Manager and Maintenance Staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have at least five years of property management experience.
Must have a strong background in Section 8
Must have strong communication and people management skills.
Must be very organized, with a strong attention to detail.
Must demonstrate strong financial and analytical abilities.
Onesite experience a plus
