**FRONT DESK ATTENDANTS**
**Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center**: This guest and conference facility combines the ambiance of an American folk art motif with contemporary comforts and conveniences. Many of the 323 guest rooms feature cypress paneling, hardwood floors and rocking chairs. Families and conference attendees appreciate the spaciousness of the rooms in the Tazewell Wing.
Job Duties:
Assists guests efficiently, courteously and professionally in all front office related functions including registration, cashiering and information.
Maintains a high standard of service and hospitality at all times.
Trains new employees.
Performs other duties as required.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D.;
Flexibility to include availability on short notice;
Flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays;
Full time position;
Ability to handle cash handling duties;
Excellent public contact and organizational skills;
Effective oral and written communication skills;
Some front desk or guest relations experience preferred;
Ability to (1) handle guests' complaints; (2) work well under pressure; (3) stand for long periods of time; (4) act and react quickly in a professional manner; (5) handle paperwork efficiently
**Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays**
**Physical requirements include, but are not limited to**: (1) performing heavy cleaning; high and low dusting; (2) transporting objects weighing up to 60 pounds; (3) a great amount of walking in all types of weather and (4) lifting, standing and bending up to 8 hours daily.
