Job Purpose

Primary Function of the Controller is reporting the plants financial results in a timely and accurate manner.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Month end duties involving journal entries, HFM inputting, and adhoc reporting
• Prepare quarterly and year end reports.

• Prepare monthly account reconciliations. • Assist in the preparation of the annual Business Plan (Budget).

• Work directly with Dana’s corporate accounting group to provide financial and other information as requested.
• To review, and monitor control procedures and systems to ensure accurate preparation of financial information and report to Controller any recommendations for change as required for implementation.
• Involved with internal and external audits, transfer price studies, and fixed asset maintenance.
• Customs management.

Qualifications:

• A post-secondary degree or diploma preferably in the area of accounting, business or finance.
• A professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA).
• Excellent knowledge of accounting systems and control elements.
• Working knowledge of business law.
• Strong financial and business background with strong analytical skills.
• Computer literacy and experience with spreadsheets and word processing.
