UHY LLP is Hiring a Bookkeeper Near Warren, MI
UHY is assisting a client in Warren, MI who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team! This role is On-Site Monday through Friday and offers a small-company, family-owned environment. Experience with payroll is strongly preferred, but not required.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Participate in the general ledger and month-end closing
- Records and reports all corporate cash receipts
- Supports the annual audit, budgeting and financial analysis, and quarterly reviews for general ledger related items
- Utilizes financial systems to support accounting requirements
- Supports the continuous financial systems upgrades
- Identifies, implements, documents, and enhances business processes
- Prepares management reports and ad hoc assignments as needed
Senior Accountant Qualifications:
- 4 years of relevant, recent Accounting or Finance experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting or Finance or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to multi-task as well as reprioritize and balance workload based on changing needs.
