SAFREST is Hiring a Sales Specialist Near Los Angeles, CA

Job Title: Community Liaison/ Marketer 
Reports to: VP of Business Development

Responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, and assisting with negotiating service contracts with managed care organizations, government agencies, and other payers. Call on and develop referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health and hospice agencies, assisted living communities, adult day care centers, senior community centers, and a variety of community-based organizations.

Essential Job Functions/ Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound information calls and actively make outbound calls to prospective clients in need of care or home care placement.

  • Represent the company at networking and community events throughout Southern California.

  • Research the competition to effectively market the company’s home health services.

  • Engage in prospecting on a regular basis.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to sales skill development.

  • Maintain and build existing referral base relationships by serving as a resource for education and information.

  • Maintain open positive communication with appropriate agency staff (Hospice / Palliative Care, Home Health, and/or other in-home services) regarding referrals received.

  • Coordinate with Assistant Administrator to support referral generation efforts; facilitate growth of Home Health, Hospice and Palliative Care services and promote the company's services according to business development strategies.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all company and client information; ensure proper handling and disposal of confidential documents and adheres to all HIPAA rules and regulations.

  • Serve as a local champion for service-line standardization and consistency efforts.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

    Position Qualifications

Job Description

  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in Communication, Marketing, and/or Licensed Nurse preferred.

  • At least 1 year experience in a home health environment and/or with a caregiving agency.

  • At least 1 year experience in marketing or public relations.

  • Community relation management – knowledge of a local community’s needs and the ability to

    interview others to get needed information are essential qualities.

  • Marketing – promotional skills to effectively share organization’s vision and mission

  • Interpersonal skills – a critical duty of community liaisons is building trusting and effective

    partnerships to facilitate engagement and outreach.
