City of Lincoln Lancaster County is Hiring an Account Clerk II Near Lincoln, NE
Complex, specialized clerical work involving the application of advanced accounting principles to the maintenance of financial accounts and records.
Performs various accounting functions for the Clerk of the District Court including processing payments, receipts, checks, garnishments, payment vouchers and cash receipts.
Reconciles daily report balances to the bank statement; enters judgments, and tax costs, and gives credit as specified in court orders.
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent supplemented by coursework in accounting or finance, and at least 6 months of experience performing varied office and clerical tasks including documentation and maintenance of financial transactions; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
