To process Accounts Payable tasks in a timely, accurate manner.

Knowledge of basic and advanced accounting procedures and sales tax regulations is desirable.Accurate and efficient completion of all assigned AP tasks. Requires some long periods of sitting. Requires travel to stores.

1)Follow directives of AP Manager, Controller/CFO, President & CEO.2)Provide support and assistance to the Stores and Support Center.3)Abide by Company and Departmental procedures and policies.4)Follow Company Safety Standards.• Sign for incoming registered or certified mail• Sort internal mail by store location in the Mail Room• Keep records of incoming packages, and distribute to employees• Collect and prepare correspondence to be mailed (e.g. applying appropriate stamps, verifying addresses)• Track mailroom supplies - postage meter maintenance, stamps, etc.

1)Knowledge of basic accounting knowledge and sales tax regulations.2)Must possess strong knowledge of procedures in regard to invoicing, billing, accounting, and general office procedures.3)Good interpersonal communication skills.4)Ability to work with various computer programs and systems, including spreadsheets (MS Excel), word documents (MS Word) and AS400.5)Process, track and maintain records of: invoices, DSD invoices, multi-store statements, etc. for assigned stores.6)Complete various tasks as assigned.7)Review and enter intercompany product transfer invoices as assigned.8)Review, process and balance SCRIP orders as assigned.9)Meet with vendors and negotiate prices as needed.10)Calculate, code and enter invoices for assigned stores.11)Scan, identify and file paid invoices.

Proper use and maintenance of:Computer, 10-key Adding Machine, Calculator, Telephone, Various Printers, Postage Meter, Photocopier, Fax Machine, and Various Office Equipment.

FT - Mostly Daytime hours, or as needed.
