POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCES ASSOCIATE


CLASSIFICATION: CLERICAL, Non-Exempt

GRADE LEVEL: ONE-TWO

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:


The Human Resources Associate provides administrative support to the Human Resources department; Miscellaneous projects are assigned as needed.

SUPERVISED BY: DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Open and route incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail.
  • Greet and assist employees through the Employee Entrance, telephone or via email.
  • Human Resources Staff Administrative Support.
  • Coordinating and assisting with new hire orientations, trainings, communication with departments regarding new hires.
  • Assist recruitment with recruiting processes.
  • Assist benefits administration with the benefits process.
  • Create and print memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Update records/status changes within HRIS.
  • Perform other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying and collating.
  • Miscellaneous projects.
  • All other duties assigned.

  • Some experience in an HR environment

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Some experience in HR or other equivalent office setting

Associate degree or college progress toward HR or related field preferred.
