MAG Aerospace is Hiring a Help Desk Technician Near Dugway, UT

Position Summary:

We are looking for a tech-savvy help desk technician to be responsible for providing technical assistance with computer systems, hardware, and software. To be a successful help desk technician, you should be well-versed in all aspects of computer systems configuration, set up, and maintenance.

**This position is Contract Contingent upon Funding Award. **

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Responds to end-user requests for technical assistance by phone, email, or ticketing system.

  • Troubleshoots and resolves basic computer, application, system, device, access, or performance issues.

  • Uses established processes and procedures to document, track, and resolve reported problems and to meet operational service levels and standards.

  • Utilizes product information or solution database to research, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions.

  • Advises users on the methods, steps, and actions to resolve and avoid future issues and provides documentation as needed.

  • Escalates problems to appropriate levels or teams to achieve issue resolution.

  • May support installs or upgrades of software or devices, set up user profiles, or re-set passwords.

  • Fulfills all service level standards for response time and quality.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 1year experience in a DoD environment.

Knowledge and Skills

  • A strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An openness to learning new technologies

Education

  • High School Diploma

Clearance

  • DoD active Secret clearance

Other

May require the following certifications:

  • CompTIA Security
  • Computing Environment Certification.
