Wecom Fiber is Hiring a Network Technician Near Kingman, AZ
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and implement necessary enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new network solutions.
- Provide technical support to end-users and assist with network-related inquiries.
- Ensure network security by implementing appropriate protocols and access controls.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Knowledge of network topologies including fiber optic networks. Fiber Optic Association training preferred.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting utilities.
- Hands-on experience with network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Associate degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is desirable.
- Network Certification (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA, Network ) is preferred.
- Knowledge of the OSI Model and troubleshooting through the OSI Model preferred.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy network equipment.
- Proven work experience as a Network Technician or similar role.
