POSITION: Data Entry Clerk
DEPARTMENT: Business Office
PAY: $15-$16/HR
Job Summary: This individual is responsible for processing incoming patient and insurance payments and entering physician clinic and ASC charges that include surgeon, anesthesia and facility billing.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years experience in medical practice.
- NextGen experience, preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Primary Responsibilities
- Accurately posts all incoming patient and insurance payments including electronic and paper checks and ERAs.
- Balances daily business activities and closes out each day’s receipts for the deposit.
- Ensures payments are secured until posted.
HS Diploma or Equivalent.
1-2 years of administrative and data entry experience required.

* Complete insurance or other claim forms.* Compile and record medical charts, reports, or correspondence, using typewriter or personal computer.
