Manufacturing Production Planner to oversee and coordinate production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a Manufacturing Production Planner, you will be responsible for production scheduling and sequencing, material and resource management, monitoring and performance analysis, as well as communication and collaboration with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Scheduling and Sequencing:

• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Coordinate with production teams to optimize sequencing and minimize downtime.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Coordinate with purchasing and logistics departments to streamline material flow.
• Monitoring and Performance Analysis:
• Monitor production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Analyze production data to track key performance indicators and identify trends.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on production goals and priorities.
• Communicates production schedules and updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.

Skills & Traits:

Computer Proficiency:

• Continuous improvement in computer skills including ability to navigate software systems efficiently, both transactional and report generation.
• Experience with ProShop software or manufacturing ERP is a bonus.

Manufacturing Experience:

• Strong background in manufacturing processes and operations.
• Experience in AS9100 standards is a plus.

Understanding of Quality Specs and Requirements:

• Knowledge of quality specifications and requirements in manufacturing.
• Attention to detail to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Detail-Driven:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in planning and execution.

Ability to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.

Process-Driven:

Ability to follow established processes and procedures while also seeking opportunities for process improvements.

Evidence of implementing or creating process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
