As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Manufacturing Production Planner to join our dynamic team and contribute to our success. This position, and this company, is not for everyone. - Production Scheduling and Sequencing:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Coordinate with production teams to optimize sequencing and minimize downtime.
- Material and Resource Management:
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Coordinate with purchasing and logistics departments to streamline material flow.
- Monitoring and Performance Analysis:
- Monitor production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Analyze production data to track key performance indicators and identify trends.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on production goals and priorities.
- Communicates production schedules and updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Computer Proficiency:
- Continuous improvement in computer skills including ability to navigate software systems efficiently, both transactional and report generation.
- Experience with ProShop software or manufacturing ERP is a bonus.
- Manufacturing Experience:
- Strong background in manufacturing processes and operations.
- Experience in AS9100 standards is a plus.
- Understanding of Quality Specs and Requirements:
- Knowledge of quality specifications and requirements in manufacturing.
- Attention to detail to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Detail-Driven:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in planning and execution.
- Ability to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Process-Driven:
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures while also seeking opportunities for process improvements.
- Evidence of implementing or creating process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
