Crowe & Dunlevy is Hiring an Intellectual Property Specialist Near Tulsa, OK

Crowe & Dunlevy is seeking an Intellectual Property Specialist to join our team.

The Intellectual Property Specialist will perform a variety of intellectual property related support tasks for assigned attorneys, including preparing, drafting, and processing various IP related legal documents. They will also file documents with appropriate entities and docket and report filings to clients.

We are looking for candidates who will own responsibility, be a team player with a professional attitude, show initiative and follow through, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SPECIALIST

Summary: Works under the direct supervision of Assigned Attorneys and Paralegal Committee.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of patent and trademark prosecution, including communicating with attorneys, drafting and filing various related documents, review and analysis of office actions, and docketing and review of deadlines.

Communicate with attorneys, clients, and foreign associates regarding deadlines and filings.

Manage and organize patent and trademark files and dockets as well as other corporate and legal files.

Record billable and non-billable hours worked in the firm’s time entry database.

Provide general support to intellectual property attorneys and other members of the legal team as needed.

Recommended Education/Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a combination of experience and education

2 years of intellectual property or similar paralegal experience

Understanding of patent and trademark intellectual property, including proficiency with Patent Center, TSDR, TEAS, and WIPO

Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to use and learn various software applications

Excellent proofreading and time management skills

Exhibit professionalism and ability to work in team-oriented environment

Strong adherence to ethical and confidentiality requirements

Demonstrates a professional attitude, strong follow-up skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
