5 years reception experience required with the following tasks:

• Organize and call re-call list for hygiene to keep a full schedule
• Run report & work on list of patients needing treatment that has not been completed yet to help fill schedule and follow up with unscheduled treatment
• Organize and follow up with patients waiting to hear about out of pocket after insurance estimates are calculated
• Verify insurance eligibility, calculate out of pocket based on procedure codes
• Create treatment plans in Dentrix Ascend software once copay info is determined
• Confirming appointments & notifying patients in advance of their financial obligations via phone
• Make appointments, answer phones, answer emails, missed calls, voicemails, reply to text messages
• Obtain a breakdown of benefits and upload into Ascend patient chart
• Submit claims electronically in Ascend software
