Gulfstream Staffing has partnered with a Long Island based Bariatric Organization that is experiencing a rapid growth phase. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Accounts Receivable Manager opportunity near Roselyn Heights, NY. This organization has a leadership team of visionaries among the best in the business and a focus on a commitment to quality service to its patients.
The Accounts Receivable Manager will assist the revenue cycle department in resolving revenue cycle problems. The RCM Manager will supervise and oversee staff in duties pertaining to patient billing, communications with health insurance, collections, cash posting, account management, and contract analysis.

Accounts Receivable Manager Location: Roselyn Heights, NY
Accounts Receivable Manager Details:

• Review and follow up on insurance carrier denials and underpaid claims according to contracted fee schedules.
• Appeal inappropriate denials by insurance carrier timely
• Strong Managerial experience.
• Confirm validity of overpayment refund requests from insurance carriers.
• Knowledge of appeals process
• Identify payor trends affecting revenue.
• Participate in One-on-One AR reviews with management.
• Lead and monitor the A/R Staff team
• Monitor productivity, Knowledge of KPI metrics.

Accounts Receivable Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelors preferred but not required
• A minimum of 3 years in healthcare billing
• CPC/AAPC a plus
• Understands insurance policies and processes
• Ability to utilize insurance websites proficiently
• Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointExtraordinary attention to detail
