We are seeking a dedicated dental receptionist/ assistant
Receptionist Duties:
The ideal candidate will have experience in dental reception, possess strong organizational and communication skills.
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information
- Assist with patient registration and check-in process
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information in electronic health records systems.
- Handle patient inquiries, provide information about dental procedures, and address concerns or complaints
- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure efficient patient flow
- Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and maintain financial records
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using dental software systems (dentrix)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Assisting Duties:
Must know four handed chairside dentistry.
-Assist dentist with various dental procedures.
- Break down and disinfect rooms.
- clean and sterilize instruments.
- check and make sure lab cases are in on time.
Knowledge of Dentrix and Dexis is a plus.
