Job Description

We are a leading Property Management company, seeking an extremely organized, friendly HUD Property Manager to join our team in Hartford, CT.

5 years of experience at a HUD Project Based Section 8 site, with a single employer is required.

Compensation is competitive, and will commensurate with experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Qualify all applicants, and calculate rent/subsidy portions based on income.
• Annually recertifications, and Annual unit inspections.
• Interim recertifications, when required.
• EIV master file maintenance.
• Enter maintenance service requests, and follow up with techs for completion.
• Oversee apartment turns for move-in, and move-outs to ensure that apartments are suitable for occupancy based on HUD guidelines.
• Manage adherence of all residents to their lease by resolving lease violations and referring residents to appropriate resources in order to promote high quality of living for all residents.
• Deposit rent, collections, and follow through with the entire legal process when necessary.
• Process all move-outs and security deposit refunds.
• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with company policies.
• Must ensure all is up to code to promote a high REAC score

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Directly supervises all site personnel.
• Maintain positive relationships between vendors, tenants, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Must be extremely organized, and able to manage multiple administrative projects simultaneously.
• Previous HUD experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of Fair Housing requirements.
• Experience with OneSite software a plus
• Regular and predictable attendance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
