Our company is located in Perrysburg, Ohio, been in business for 20 years and is a full stocking distributor of, you guessed it… rope and cordage. We sell all sorts of rope to all sorts of customers all over the USA. In that time we have earned a stellar reputation for quality, integrity and fair pricing.

Most likely, when you signed in to look at a new job you had no idea you would be reading a description for an “Account Manager” opportunity with a rope company. Well here we are.

In addition, it’s our guess that you probably have zero knowledge of the rope industry. If that is the case, then don’t worry, we can teach you what you need to know.

What we really need is someone to enter customer orders in our computer system and then manage those orders as they work their way through the fulfillment process. We are looking for someone who can take charge, learn new skills and show initiative in performing this job at a professional level.

Here is what you would be doing…

· Entering orders into our order entry software system

· Working with our rope mills and other vendors to place purchase orders for rope.

· Working alongside our onsite warehouse and production shop to facilitate timely shipping of outgoing orders and/or production of custom rope assemblies

· Communicating with customers about order status via phone or e-mail.

· Communicating with our rope production mills about upcoming or current orders to ensure efficient delivery to customers.

· Preparing quotes for customers on stock or custom orders.

If you have the following skills then you might be a great fit for us!

· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

· Ability to type with a speed of 40 WPM or greater

· Friendly and professional phone voice

· Knowledge of Mac computers is very helpful

· Knowledge of computer keystroke shortcuts

· Experience using an enterprise grade phone system (PBX)

· Experience working with business customers via phone and e-mail

· Complete honesty and integrity in all you do and say
