Job Summary:This role will support the day-to-day operations within the Business Development team by ensuring consistent and timely delivery of core services to internal and external customers. Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Essential Job Duties:Gather, disseminate, and organize data inputs to aid proposal development efforts. Draft and edit customer and project proposals as assigned. Ensures proposals are submitted by deadlines provided. Works with Operations and Project Management to ensure accuracy of scope, clarifications, assumptions, and exceptions incorporated into proposals.Creates and maintains bid packets, assigns project numbers, prints and or forwards all information to the appropriate people. Keeps an updated file of information or pictures that are needed. Works with the appropriate internal resources to collect needed information and data to accurately create and send bids out in a timely fashion.Monitors status of proposals and provides support as needed to follow up with clients on outstanding proposals.Support Business Development initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing.Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateralCreate, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels.Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts. Minimum Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field1-3 years of experience in sales, business development or marketingMust have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.Proficient in MS Office with strong Excel skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and proofreading skillsFirm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.Must be a self-starter and independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Must have strong analytical skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision.Ability travel occasionally Report To: Director, Business Development and Proposals
