Our Summer Internship Experience:
LA Darling is looking for an engaged and enthusiastic Intern to join our Summer 2023 paid internship program. Interns are encouraged to think and act like entrepreneurs and are provided significant responsibility and autonomy to get things done. As an intern, you will gain substantial personal learning and career development opportunities through ownership of real-world job assignments, strong coaching and mentorship and networking with senior leaders across the organization. Our interns receive the opportunity to showcase their achievements to our Leaders for the opportunity to grow and make an impact in the current workplace, across a group, and around the world.
What You’ll Do:
The HR Intern will assist with a company project. They will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Manager and department in all areas including employee relations, staffing, compensation, benefits administration, and training. They will maintain accurate records, personnel files, and the Human Resources database. They will have the opportunity to assist in carrying out policies and procedures throughout the HR department.
What You’ll Need:

• Current undergrad working towards a degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable creating digital content & templates.
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
• Motivated with a strong desire to take on new challenges and eager to learn as much as possible.

Work Hours/Length of Program:

• The internship will run for 10 weeks from May to August
• Full Time, 40 hours per week
• Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business.
• This is a paid internship.
