Shipping / Laser Etching Clerk Overview :
As a Shipping / Laser Etching Clerk for Moeller Precision Tool, you will laser etch components and oversee our advanced computerized shipping system, this position requires strong analytical abilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
We're on the lookout for a driven individual who enjoys a challenge.
Responsibilities :
- Follow instructions from department leaders
- Etch and label parts according to specifications
- Prepare parts for shipment
- Package parts as directed
- Accurately complete required paperwork
- Input shipments into the computer system (EPICOR) and generate labels
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machines
Shipping / Laser Etching Clerk Requirements :
- Ability to stand and work 8-10 hours a day
- Highly motivated with strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and computer skills
Compensation :
$20.00-22.00 / hour (depending on relevant experience)
Work Hours :
8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 / 5 : 30 PM (Additional hours may be necessary) A typical workday for a Shipping / Laser Etching Clerk spans 8-10 hours, Monday through Friday, and overtime compensation applies after 40 hours of work.
Physical Demands and Work Environment :
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
