Position Summary and Purpose :

Moeller Precision Tool is currently hiring a skilled CNC Mill machinist for the day shift. As a CNC Mill machinist, you’ll play a crucial role within our team, responsible for machining steel parts used in production.

Your expertise will primarily involve working with CNC Mills with FANUC controls .

Your responsibilities will include :

• Study blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine production methods.
• Set up and operate CNC Mills as needed, ensuring they meet specifications.
• Perform inspections on manufactured parts to maintain quality standards.
• Enter production data into the data collection system.
• Maintain machinery by applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, and machining procedures.
• Always maintain a clean working area.
• Must follow all safety protocols. Safety boots and safety glasses at all times.

Requirements :

• Proven familiarity with FANUC controls.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in CNC mill setup and operation, demonstrating knowledge and proficiency in running CNC machines.
• High school diploma or GED. Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills.
• Competency with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other inspection gauges.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, service-oriented, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work 8-10 hours a day while standing.

Schedule : Day shift ( 6 / 7 AM 4 : 30 / 5 : 30 PM). A normal shift consists of 8-10 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Occasional Saturdays and overtime will be required.

Pay : $23.00 - $30.00 / hour, depending on qualifications. OT after 40 hours.

Physical Demands and Work Environment :

To successfully perform the essential functions of the CNC Mill Machinist, an employee must meet certain requirements. These include standing, walking, sitting, and using hands to handle objects.

Occasionally, the employee may need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Additionally, the ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds is necessary.

Specific vision abilities, such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception, are also required.
