Duties:
Reviews and processes all Human Resources department paperwork and maintains an organized system for all employee-related records and files. Participates in employee recruitment process - coordinates position postings, tracks applications, corresponds with applicants, and completes and organizes pre-hire and new-hire paperwork. Conducts pre-employment and renewal background screenings.
Maintains MCBDD Table of Organization and coordinates employee roster / position control number assignments. Tracks and disseminates employee evaluations and certifications, composes FMLA requests and offers outstanding customer service by demonstrating exceptional professionalism, courtesy, and confidentiality.
Records and distributes meeting minutes for agency committees and departmental meetings in an accurate and timely manner. Manages the record retention schedule and makes recommendations for destruction of appropriate historical documentation. Assists in the indexing of consumer records. Completes other clerical duties as requested for the Human Resources department, as well as the Superintendent's office.
Completes and maintains required records, reports, and documentation. Completes additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED required; Associate degree preferred.
Excellent computer skills.
State of Ohio Notary Public required.
