Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of senior nutrition, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to create diverse menus that cater to various dietary needs and preferences. This role is pivotal in enhancing our residents' dining experience and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement innovative and nutritious menus that cater to the dietary needs of senior residents, including those with specific medical conditions.

- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

- Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.

- Monitor food inventory and control costs without compromising on quality.

- Engage with residents to gather feedback and continuously improve the dining experience.

- Collaborate with the facility’s management team to align culinary services with overall organizational goals.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a senior living facility, healthcare, or hospitality environment.

- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.

- Strong knowledge of special dietary requirements and restrictions, particularly for seniors.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- Ability to create menus that are both appealing and nutritious, with an emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients.

- Proficiency in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control.

- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
