Arc Herkimer is looking for a Sous Chef for the MV Golf and Event Center.
Starting rate $18/hr. Part time 24-28 hrs/wk. Seasonal
Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Sous Chef experience of one year preferred.
• Knowledge of all kitchen operations required

The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef with planning, directing, and evaluating the purchase, production, presentation, and pricing of food for meal service and catering. To ensure that standards of customer service, safety, quality, and performance are maintained as directed by Head Chef.
Responsibilities include:

• Assist the Head Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations, including, but not limited to, preparation and production of meals, food quality and presentation, safety compliance, sanitation standards, team member productivity and performance, and cost control procedures
• Assist in creation and implementation of menu selections for banquets and events with Head Chef and General Manager as needed
• Coordinate, monitor, and help execute all golf and event center functions as directed
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health, safety, and sanitation standards are attained
• Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, assisting with evaluations, training, scheduling
• Ability to have a flexible schedule
