Perry Reid Properties, an established property management firm, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team! Qualified individual must be detail oriented and self-driven with the ability to multitask. Individual must also work well with other staff as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for entering all incoming bills that are not entered by on-site managers
- Create accounts payable reports as required
- Record invoices and manager timely payments for multiple properties
- Review payables batches and ensure accurate coding and posting in system
- Pay vendors by processing checks using Yardi
- Reconcile monthly statements and related transactions
- Training of on-site managers on entering payables
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with Accounts Payable duties
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask & meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as with team members
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
