POSITION SUMMARY
The Community Outreach Coordinator will coordinate resources, develop strategies, and support relationships to mitigate COVID-19 in populations experiencing homelessness. This includes oversight of a work plan to support ongoing implementation of COVID-19 screening and diagnostic testing for homeless service site clients, homeless service site staff, people experiencing unsheltered homelessness, and outreach staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
1. Master’s Degree in Public Health, Social Work or a related field or equivalent experience and education meeting minimal requirements of the position.
2. Valid NV driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to show proof of registration/insurance. Must be 21 years of age to drive on behalf of CPLC, Inc.
3. Must pass background screening and TB test prior to start
4. Level One Fingerprint clearance or ability to obtain fingerprint clearance or ability to have within 60 days of employment; must maintain clearance.
Other requirements:
Effective January 3, 2022, all CPLC Employees and all Service Providers, are required to be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19. Newly hired employees, who are not Fully Vaccinated at the time of hire, are expected to begin a vaccination series immediately upon hire. CPLC recognizes medical and religious exemptions to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement, in accordance with applicable law and upon approval by CPLC. However, any person approved for an exemption, without exception, is subject to masking, and other requirements established by CPLC from time to time.
