Position: Clinical Therapist | Vogue Recovery Center NV | Full-Time 8:30am-5pm 

While providing individual, group, and family therapy, the Clinical Therapist participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning by developing assessments and appropriate modes of therapy to assist clients with substance abuse issues. The primary responsibility of the Clinical Therapist is to provide therapeutic services, reporting to the Clinical Director, to the persons served. Services are provided via one on one sessions with assigned caseloads as well as by conducting and documenting group therapy sessions.

Job Duties: Clinical Therapist 

• The Clinical Therapist provides high-quality, compassionate, and ethical counseling to clients as scheduled in individual, group, and family therapy settings
• The Clinical Therapist actively participates as a positive member of an interdisciplinary treatment team
• The Clinical Therapist completes treatment plans for each client in caseload and regularly update based on client progress
• The Clinical Therapist completes clinical assessments and documentation as necessary, including but not limited to, treatment plans, biopsychosocial assessments, ASAM's, discharge plans, etc
• The Clinical Therapist is responsible for scheduling individual appointments as directed by the supervisor
• The Clinical Therapist completes accurate clinical documentation on the same day as the date of service
• The Clinical Therapist completes all recommended continuing education requirements
• The Clinical Therapist is aware of community referral sources and refer when necessary
• The Clinical Therapist secures client information per HIPAA standards
• The Clinical Therapist provides in-service training as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in social work, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field, from an accredited college or university
• Licensed in the State of Nevada as one of the following LCSW/CSW-I, LMFT/MFT-I, LCPC/CPC-I, LADC/LADC-I, LCADC/CADC-I
• State of Nevada Board of Behavioral Health examiners to license all qualified individuals via licensing procedure per Nevada Revised Statute requirements. Vogue Recovery Center will verify licensure prior to employment beginning.
• 2 - 3 years post-Bachelor’s experience working as a clinician in the behavioral health substance abuse field preferred.
• Strong computer skills required, experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and analyze policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and their loved ones, customers, and the public.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Strong assessment skills.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Electronic Health Records; Internet software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
