**Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team from Mid July 2024 - End of September 2024. We offer competitive pay and are staffed with technicians that complete pre-testing and are flexible to presenting patients to match your preference. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional eye care services to patients, utilizing their expertise in diagnosing and treating visual problems. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with a focus on eye health and vision care.

**Duties:**

- Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and identify any potential eye health issues

- Prescribe corrective lenses or other treatments as needed

- Diagnose and manage various eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration

- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries

- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions regarding their eye health

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

**Experience:**

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in conducting eye exams and assessments

- Knowledge of optometric equipment and tools

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions

- Understanding of medical coding, HIPAA regulations, and maintaining accurate medical records

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Spanish speaking

- Experience in senior and pediatric care optometry

- Familiarity with our electronic health record systems, Eyefinity
