**Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and providing exceptional service to our patients. If you are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and knowledgeable about optical products, we encourage you to apply.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their prescription and style preferences

- Take accurate measurements for eyeglasses fitting

- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage

- Adjust and repair eyeglasses as needed

- Process orders for lenses and frames

- Maintain inventory of optical products

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

**Qualifications:**

- Prior experience in optical sales or retail sales required

- Familiarity with medical terminology related to ophthalmology

- Knowledge of aseptic techniques for maintaining cleanliness in the optical area

- Experience with electronic health records systems is a plus

- Understanding of pediatric and senior needs with regard to vision care including prisms.
