Job Location: This position will be located at 930 Wildwood Dr., Jefferson City, Missouri

This regulatory enforcement position will be responsible for conducting inspections of lead abatement projects across the State of Missouri, ensuring individuals conducting lead abatement are licensed and in compliance with Missouri statutes and regulations and protecting citizens from lead poisoning. You will also be educating the public through outreach opportunities to help them better understand how lead exposure and lead poisoning can be very dangerous, especially to young developing children, and how to properly address lead hazard found throughout their own homes. This position will also provide an opportunity to grow with the Lead Licensing Program and the Department of Health and Senior Services through a range of collaborative activities and opportunities to work with other parts of the Department on statewide health issues that impact the State of Missouri and surrounding states.
