Job Summary

The Marketing Specialist will assist the Marketing Team in all aspects of marketing for a variety of automotive dealerships. This position will maintain regular communication with dealership leaders and vendor representatives in order to accomplish marketing objectives. Strong design and social media skills are needed.

Essential Functions

• Develop visually appealing and effective multimedia assets for multiple vehicle brands including creation of graphics, images, videos and ad copy 
• Collaborate with the marketing team and dealer leadership to generate engaging and compelling content for emails, social media and marketing campaigns
• Contribute to the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to promote vehicle offers, products, services, and events. Work closely with the Director of Marketing to ensure consistency and alignment with overarching marketing strategies
• Stay abreast of digital marketing trends and manufacturer updates 
• Complete all marketing training required by manufacturers and contribute creative ideas to enhance the Doggett Automotive Group’s digital strategy
• Uphold and reinforce the Doggett Automotive Group brand identity through all marketing materials 
• Monitor and report on performance of ads and campaigns
• Field incoming marketing solicitations and sponsorship requests. Present regular opportunity summaries to Marketing Director
• Assist in dealer events
• Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field 
• Minimum 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in graphic design and marketing, preferably in the automotive industry
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
• Strong proficiency in social media platforms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadline

Travel Requirements

• Local travel may be occasionally required between Beaumont and Houston, TX
