NessCampbell Crane + Rigging is Hiring a Payroll Administrator Near Hillsboro, OR
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced payroll and benefits professional to join our payroll team. The right candidate will be a great problem solver and collaborator who is experienced with unions and is adaptable to various software programs.
Responsibilities
- Verify, complete, and submit Certified Payroll timely and accurately.
- Process timecards and payrolls as requested.
- Cross train and cover for positions both above and below this one.
- Assist Payroll Manager and others with benefits administration and onboarding/offboarding.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality in handling employee records.
- Collaborate with Payroll Manager and others to contribute to a continuous improvement culture and mindset within the payroll team.
Required skills and qualifications
- Education, certification, or experience sufficient to demonstrate mastery of the tasks required of a Payroll Administrator.
- Understanding of labor unions and basic payroll regulations.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Superb time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with various payroll software programs.
- Two years of related experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Must pass a drug screening.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Proficiency with WorkForceGo, Paylocity, or other similar system.
- Familiarity with Sage 100 or Intacct.
- Associates degree or equivalent.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
