NessCampbell Crane + Rigging is Hiring a Payroll Administrator Near Hillsboro, OR

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced payroll and benefits professional to join our payroll team. The right candidate will be a great problem solver and collaborator who is experienced with unions and is adaptable to various software programs.

Responsibilities

  • Verify, complete, and submit Certified Payroll timely and accurately.
  • Process timecards and payrolls as requested.
  • Cross train and cover for positions both above and below this one.
  • Assist Payroll Manager and others with benefits administration and onboarding/offboarding.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in handling employee records.
  • Collaborate with Payroll Manager and others to contribute to a continuous improvement culture and mindset within the payroll team.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Education, certification, or experience sufficient to demonstrate mastery of the tasks required of a Payroll Administrator.
  • Understanding of labor unions and basic payroll regulations.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Superb time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with various payroll software programs.
  • Two years of related experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Must pass a drug screening.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Proficiency with WorkForceGo, Paylocity, or other similar system.
  • Familiarity with Sage 100 or Intacct.
  • Associates degree or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
