We have an immediate opening for a B2B sales and market development position to lead our effort into new vertical markets. VMW is expected to grow along with the unprecedented growth of Ecommerce in the U.S. as major shippers require fast and reliable delivery to their customers.

Description/Responsibilities:
This is anin-person position is located out of our Glen Burnie Maryland facility and it is expected that you will:
· Develop business strategies for customer and vertical market growth
· Develop service offering deliverables for new customers
· Meet a weekly quota of new customer appointments either In person or virtually to develop new customer relationships
· Create and maintain pipeline of new and already established prospects for all of VMW’s service offerings (Tractor trailer, Straight truck, Cross docking, Warehousing, etc.)
· Regular contact with existing customers to expand share of their business with VMW
· Keep up with Industry trends and growth opportunities
· Develop and maintain digital/online presence and marking initiatives
Qualifications:
· Located in Maryland (Preferably near Glen Burnie)
· 5 years of Regional Sales experience within the transportation industry (VA, MD, DC, and surrounding states)
· Experience using online/digital platforms for marketing and customer outreach
· Possess thorough knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workplace
· Strong analytical skills
· Ability to negotiate
· Ability to meet deadlines
· Strong written and verbal skills
· Ability to work with diverse team members and customers
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
