Position OverviewWe are seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our team. This role will encompass a diverse range of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures. The AP Specialist will play a vital role in supporting company operations through meticulous data entry, while fostering positive relationships with clients, vendors, and international teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage AP inbox daily with precision and attention to detail.
- Create and process purchase orders, vendor billings, and vendor statement reconciliations in accordance with company protocols.
- Review and document credit card transactions with proper backup.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant AP or accounting experience required.
- Experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe).
- Ability to manage high volumes of data with precision and accuracy.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proactive and self-sufficient, with conflict resolution skills and a respectful demeanor.
