Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

Maintain financial transactions and process month-end close via QuickBooks Online for multiple clients at a time.

· Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on a monthly and as needed basis

· Communicates directly with clients via phone, email, and video chat software.

· Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work to ensure compliance with applicable standards.

· Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data.

· Assist clients with job costing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition.

· Assisting clients with payroll setup and use of payroll software through our 3rd party partner.

· Assist the client in the onboarding stage, along with any clean up and catch-up accounting work.

· Proactively addressing and responding to potential issues.

· Perform other duties as assigned

`What We’re Looking For:

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, and experience with QuickBooks or QuickBooks Online.

· Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with willingness to meet with clients in an advisory capacity.

· Ability to learn new online software and comfortable using technology in general, including video chat software, email, spreadsheets, apps, etc.

· Enjoy the fast-pace and personality of entrepreneurial businesspeople.

Your Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or Associates degree paired with additional years of working experience.

· 2 to 5 years of related experience
