Hire Up Staffing is seeking an HR Generalist for our client in Fresno, CA!

This is a full time, temp-to-permanent opportunity with a starting pay of $28-33 depending on experience.

Job duties :

• Manage employee relations issues effectively, including handling write-ups and disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with managers to conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
• Develop and revise HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal regulations and company objectives.
• Stay updated on California laws and ensure compliance with state regulations regarding employee rights and leaves of absence.
• Facilitate leave requests and maintain accurate records in compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
• Learn and understand basic accounting principles to support financial processes as needed.

Qualifications :

• At least 4 years of Human Resources experience
• Knowledge of California employment laws and regulations, particularly regarding leave facilitation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
