Job Summary :

The CU Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is one of the most prolific Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the nation, with a headcount of over 250 employees, 10 freestanding clinics, 8 subspecialty divisions, a top-20 NIH funded research program, and a full complement of educational programs including medical students, 7 fellowship programs, and a 40 FTE residency program.

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations of the department. This position provides subject matter expertise in Human Resources, provides advice and guidance to managers and employees, assists with implementation of strategic planning, maintains compliance with policies and laws, assists with performance and leave, and is responsible for the administration of multiple areas of human resources, including : talent acquisition, employee relations, credentialing, and maintaining employee records.

This position will work closely with the Operations Director to decide what improvements can be made to existing processes, as well as looking into what other processes can be centralized or optimized.

This position will also manage the faculty Promotions and Tenure process.
