HumCap’s client in Fort Worth is looking for an HR Generalist to join their team. You will be reporting directly to the CFO and be responsible for all HR functions in the company. The Human Resource Generalist handles daily functions of the Human Resource department including recruiting, benefits administration, payroll, leave, employee relations, and enforcing policies, procedures, and practices. This is a contract to hire opening.
Experience Required
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible Human Resources Experience
• Minimum of 3 years of Management Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent preferred
• HR Certification Preferred (SHRM-SCP/SPHR)
• Knowledge of latest HR trends and best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications
You will be responsible for the following areas:
Benefits Administration and Payroll
• Updating and posting benefits notices and disclosures as well as benefit plans
• Processing weekly payroll, remit payroll reports, and help on any payroll special projects
Employee Relations
• Processing leave of absences
• Ensuring policy development aligns with company vision
• Advising disciplinary actions and conduct exit interviews
• Developing and managing employee professional development and HR training
• Collaborating with management on staff recognition and rewards programs
Recruiting
• Sourcing and screening candidates
• Scheduling interviews, sending offer letters, and conducting background checks
• Serving as an advisor to hiring managers
• Maintaining candidate database
• Managing onboarding process
