Summary
Qualified candidates will be responsible for the HR function, providing support in a highly confidential, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
The HR Generalist is an experienced HR Professional with responsibility for multiple activities related to Human Resources, including Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits and Worker's Compensation administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Update and maintain confidential employee personnel files
Weekly and Semi-Monthly Payroll processing and associated reporting
Participate and support the recruitment process
Schedule interviews
Prepare Offer Letters
Attend Career / Job fairs
Facilitate the on-boarding process for new employees, interns and temporary employees
Process pre-employment screenings
Set up new hire files
Prepare paperwork for New Hire Orientation and Training
Prepare new hire badges
Maintain HRIS databases
Prepare routine and non-routine reports
Respond to employment verifications
Maintain general office functions related to Human Resources
Special projects and other duties as needed
Qualifications / Requirements
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, with at least three years' experience working in HR
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team player
Ability to thrive in a high-stress fast-paced environment
Excellent organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Dayforce experience preferred
