SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Responsible for preparing, maintaining and monitoring customer price records.
• Facilitate pricing execution, to include data integrity and consistency.
• Proactively work with service centers in identifying and resolving pricing and margin issues.
• Provide excellent customer service, while providing analytical pricing support for Corporate and Field Management.
• Active involvement in the Company’s Total Quality Management process as evidenced by continuous improvement of processes directed toward reducing costs, improving cycle time, increasing sales / gross profit and customer satisfaction.
• Continuous development through reading, schools, seminars and on-the-job training.

JOB DUTIES

• Improve SAP pricing condition records for local Non SA or Non Gov customers to increase service center profit margins for assigned Area.
• Proactively analyze price records about to expire and recommend new price conditions based on volume, margin and gross margin profitability goals.
• Work with assigned Service Centers to reduce price overrides while maintaining or improving gross profit margin.
• Report monthly margin performance Service Center, Region, Area.
• Assist in development of price guide analytic tools.
• Assist in research / development of analytics for customer segmentation for margin elasticity (size, SIC, geography, etc.)
• Maintain accurate, complete and timely records of business transactions.
• Write and deliver presentations and prepare reports as necessary.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business related fields preferred; High School diploma or Equivalent Required
• Fundamental understanding in pricing structures and techniques.
• Strategic thinker with strong business analytic skill sets including a high level of proficiency in Microsoft EXCEL with Microsoft ACCESS.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
