The Sherwin-Williams Company is Hiring a Marketplace Manager Near Cleveland, OH

The Marketplace Manager is responsible for developing and executing on strategic plans and initiatives using data analysis and experimentation and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the overall growth of the internal data marketplace. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to think creatively and innovatively, and excellent communication skills as they will need to work cross-functionally and report progress and findings to senior management. The Marketplace Manager monitors and analyzes metrics and use data-driven insights to continuously improve the marketplace's performance ensuring the success of all initiatives and projects.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Develop and implement a data-driven marketplace growth strategy informed by business priorities, that increases engagement and drives collaboration across the organization
  • Lead a team of analysts to analyze marketplace data, customer behavior and feedback, and product performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the success of initiatives and optimize pricing strategies
  • Monitor marketplace metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions
  • Analyze competitor landscapes and identify opportunities for differentiation
  • Oversee data strategy, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data across the marketplace

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or in lieu of related degree, at least 8 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or business intelligence

Preferred:

  • Related certifications (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), DASCA) preferred

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • 12 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or business intelligence
  • 6 years of experience managing and leading a team of direct reports
  • Familiarity with marketplace data connectivity, data collection, and data distribution technologies
  • Proficient analytical skills with the ability to use data to identify key trends and insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with vendors and stakeholders
  • Understanding of data marketplace platforms and technologies and data product life cycle management

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation
  • Programming and Analytics Tools (e.g., SQL, Python, and R)
  • Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau and MicroStrategy)

Travel 5%
