Job Description
What you will do in this role : When you are a patient, finances should be the last thing on your mind. You will work closely with patients, and the facility and regional accounts receivables team.
The AR projects will include back-end collections and billing for Public Aide, Medicaid, Medicare and managed care accounts for our skilled nursing facility.
One moment you are managing the patient trust fund, the next you’re setting up payment schedules for a family and the next you could be helping a patient apply for Medicaid. It’s a busy day here!
Officially we title this job a BOM or Business Office Manager, but in other centers it may be called a Medicare / Medicaid Biller or Accounts Receivable Coordinator or even a Financial Services Rep.
This is NOT a remote / 'work from home' position. You will be expected to work full time within our center, located in the Bronzeville park neighborhood of Chicago.
