Job Description
O’Hagan Meyer LLC, a Chicago Loop Law Firm is seeking a motivated self-starter who is detail-oriented and well-organized to help in our accounting office. Monitor and provide follow ups on the company accounts receivable, reconcile client accounts and work on various special projects. Prior accounts receivable/collections preferred. Experience working in a law firm a plus.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Researching status of bill payments
- Follow up communication to clients to collect on open invoices
- Business to Business collections
- Reconciling client accounts
- Process Client Refunds
- Respond to partner/client inquiries
- Special projects
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Attention to detail a must
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Must be organized
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be able to prioritize
