Job Description
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to provide “white-glove” service to our HNW and UHNW clients.
Maintain knowledge of Private Banking Loan Product Offerings
Produce quality work in the form of Loan Presentations, Material Amendments and other credit requests in a timely manner and in accordance with agreed upon deadlines
Ensures integrity of data captured in underwriting / processing and compliance logs / systems
Effective Collaboration with Relationship Managers, Loan Coordinators, Group Portfolio Managers, Team Leads and Senior Management
Complete assigned reporting responsibilities (weekly, monthly, or quarterly) to meet LOB reporting deadlines
Continually work to increase market and professional knowledge through training classes, seminars and special projects
Develop strong working knowledge of CIBC Bank USA Credit Policy and Risk Rating Frameworks
Manage activities appropriately relative to cost/expense control management
Community Involvement
Any other duties as assigned by leadership
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of the high net worth and ultra-high net worth client profile and typical product offerings
Ability to structure credit solutions for HNW and UHNW clients with complex balance sheets and cash flows
Ability to analyze client's investments statements to differentiate eligible from ineligible client positions for lending capabilities to recommend a credit structure that meets the client's needs and falls within the Bank's risk parameters
Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements
Prefer a minimum of 1 - 3 years of banking client service experience
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities is essential while delivering desired results
Strong teamwork and partnering skills with ability to effectively manage the expectations of multiple internal/external constituents
Effective written and verbal communication/presentation skills
Intermediate user of MSWord and MS Excel

Business development - Proactively identify business opportunities for your team. Work closely with investment advisors to support business development activities and assist in the building of investment plans based on the client’s profile, goals, and risk/reward tolerance.
Relationship building - Heighten CIBC brand awareness in your community by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities. Grow your network to create lasting connections that will generate future opportunities.

You’re a certified professional. You have current accreditation and good standing Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct & Practice Handbook (CPH), and Investment Representative (IR) licensing. It’s an asset if you have Registered Representative (RR) licensing. Financial services and/or brokerage industry experience, and working knowledge of various quotation equipment is required.
