Wake Emergency Physicians, PA staffs 13 emergency departments across North Carolina. We have 230 employees supported by an administrative staff of 15 strong.
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our HR Team!

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to learn ADP Workforce Now
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high level of customer service are required
Responds to email and voicemail messages on a timely basis, assisting in prompt resolution of any employee or vendor requests
Maintains a high level of security regarding employee confidential material
Complies with all policies and procedures of Employer, including internal control policies and HIPAA
Assists in the smooth flow of daily operations at the corporate office by working with other departments on projects and goals
HR DAILY FUNCTIONS:
Helps maintain personnel files for all employees in the WEPPA HRIS system
Develop a clear understanding of all HR Policies and Procedures included in the WEPPA employee knowledgebase
Assists Director of Human Resources with open enrollment and employee benefit sessions held annually
Creates and updates various spreadsheets as requested
Maintains files (paper and electronic) for the HR Department as requested to ensure they are updated appropriately and in the correct location.
Posts necessary employee documents to personnel folders in HRIS utilizing standard naming conventions
Reconciles Credit Card statement monthly for any expenses charged on WEPPA credit card
Manages FMLA requests, sending proper paperwork and notifying schedulers and payroll as necessary
Responds to employee requests for assistance with the Jury Duty Policy
Assists the Director of Recruitment & Retention with onboarding packets, processing of paperwork, etc
Assists Director of Human Resources and Director of Recruitment & Retention with special projects.
PROGRAMS:
Tracks all Gift Cards awarded to employees
Manages the WEPPA Newborn Gift and FMLA Spoonful of Comfort program
Manages the Birthday and Anniversary monthly E-Mail
Shops for and distributes:
Other duties as reasonably assigned
