Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function, including employee relations, training and development, conflict management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
- Oversee employee relations, including handling employee grievances, conducting investigations, and resolving conflicts
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, FMLA, workers' compensation, and retirement plans
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Implement performance management processes to ensure fair evaluations and goal setting
- Maintain accurate employee records using HRIS systems such as Taleo or ADP
- Stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Taleo or ADP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
- Familiarity with change management principles
- Certification in human resources (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus
