Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Controller to join our team. As the Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This is a key leadership role that requires strong financial acumen and the ability to provide strategic guidance to the executive team.

Duties:
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements, balance sheet reconciliation, and analysis of financial data
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other relevant accounting standards
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, providing accurate and timely financial projections
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets
- Manage cash flow, including monitoring accounts receivable and payable
- Supervise the accounts payable function, ensuring timely payment of invoices
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as necessary

Skills:
- Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and analysis
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other relevant accounting standards
- Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting processes
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage or similar platforms
- Understanding of governmental accounting regulations is preferred
- Excellent financial management skills, including cash flow management and accounts payable oversight
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all financial reporting activities
- Previous experience in public accounting is a plus

Pay: $135,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
